Privacy Policy

FlowFrame is a product of Yes & No Identity Ltd ("Yes & No", "we", "us", or "our"). This policy explains how personal data is handled across two distinct environments: the FlowFrame desktop application installed on your computer, and the FlowFrame website and commercial infrastructure where you purchase licences, download software, access documentation, and receive customer support.

Because these two environments behave very differently, we explain them separately below.

Desktop application data & local processing

The FlowFrame desktop application does its work locally on your computer. It does not collect analytics, usage tracking, project content or creative files. It does send us a small, fixed set of things, listed here in full:

• Licence checks (paid plans): when you activate a key, and quietly every few hours afterwards, the app sends the key, a random device identifier it generates itself, the app version and your operating system. It does not send your computer's name.
• Update checks: at launch the app asks our release feed (hosted on GitHub) whether a newer version exists. That request carries the app version and platform, nothing else.
• Optional error reports: if the app crashes or hits an internal error, it can send us a report describing the failure (the error message and stack trace, app version, operating system and the FlowFrame feature involved) so we can fix it. Reports are stored locally first and sent when the app is next online. They never include your project, media, lyrics or text. Folder names that contain your user name are removed before sending. You can turn error reports off at any time in Settings → Privacy. Reports go to our own logging service and to Sentry, an error-monitoring provider, which processes them on our behalf.

Your creative work (including project files, imported images, video footage, audio tracks, lyrics, custom typography presets, local configuration settings, and rendered video exports) remains strictly on your local machine and is never transmitted to our servers or third parties.

None of these is required for the app to work. Without a network connection FlowFrame still opens, edits, presents and exports; a paid licence keeps working offline for weeks between checks, and pending error reports simply wait.

The only other network activity is intentionally initiated by you on your own local area network (LAN), such as serving graphics to an OBS Browser Source or broadcasting via NDI to another device in your production environment.

Website & commercial infrastructure data

You can browse the FlowFrame website and view documentation without providing personal information. Downloading the app requires a name and email — this is the only place FlowFrame ever asks for one; the desktop app itself never does — and we store the name, email, the platform you downloaded and, if you arrived through a partner link, that partner's code, and we send one welcome email; reply to it or write to us to be removed. The website uses Vercel Analytics, a cookieless, aggregate page-view measurement service (no cross-site tracking, no advertising identifiers), and sets one first-party cookie, ff_ref, only when you arrive through a partner link, so the partner can be credited if you later buy. When you purchase a paid subscription, activate a licence, or contact support, we process the following information:

• Name and email address: required to process your order, deliver your invoice and payment receipt, issue your unique licence key, and provide customer support.
• Intended use / category: an optional selection at checkout (e.g. church/worship, event production, agency/team, creator, or other) used to understand our user base and guide software feature development.
• Order metadata: transaction reference numbers, plan type, billing interval (monthly or annual), currency, and subscription status.
• Support correspondence: messages and technical details you send to our support or privacy channels to help diagnose and resolve inquiries.
• Local storage: a single browser localStorage entry that remembers your preference between light and dark mode. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

Payments & payment processing

Payment processing is handled securely by Paystack (Paystack Payments Limited) for Naira payments, and Flutterwave (Flutterwave Technology Solutions Limited) for US Dollar payments. When you purchase a subscription or add-on, your payment credentials (card numbers, expiry dates, CVVs, and bank authorizations) are transmitted directly to the relevant processor over an encrypted TLS connection.

Yes & No Identity Ltd does not collect, receive, or store full card numbers or sensitive payment credentials on our servers. We receive only transaction confirmation tokens, order status updates, and customer contact metadata necessary to issue your licence and maintain billing records.

Paystack and Flutterwave each operate as independent financial processors and are governed by their own privacy and data security policies.

Purposes & legal basis for processing

We process personal information only where necessary and lawful, including:

• Fulfilling contracts: To issue, activate, and manage your FlowFrame licences and subscriptions;
• Accounting & tax compliance: To process payments, issue statutory receipts, and maintain lawful financial and business transaction records;
• Service communications: To send critical transactional notices, including licence keys, purchase confirmations, and subscription renewal notifications;
• Customer support: To assist you with technical inquiries, hardware migration, and licence troubleshooting;
• Security & fraud prevention: To protect the integrity of our software, prevent licence key abuse or unauthorised distribution, and safeguard our services;
• Legitimate business interests: To maintain and improve our commercial services, where such processing does not override your privacy rights.

Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide software licences, service active subscriptions, maintain statutory accounting and tax records, resolve customer support inquiries, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

When personal information is no longer required for these lawful purposes, it is securely deleted or permanently anonymised in accordance with our data retention practices and applicable law.

Third-party service providers

We work with trusted service providers to run our commercial website infrastructure:

• Payment Gateways: Paystack for Naira payments, Flutterwave for US Dollar payments (secure checkout and subscription recurring billing);
• Transactional Email: Email infrastructure providers for delivering automated receipts, licence keys, and support correspondence;
• Website Hosting: Vercel (secure hosting, CDN caching, and edge routing for the FlowFrame website).

These providers process data solely on our behalf under strict confidentiality and data protection obligations. The FlowFrame desktop software does not transmit user data to any analytics or advertising service; the only third party it can contact directly is Sentry, for the optional error reports described above.

Your data subject rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) and other applicable data protection frameworks, you have specific rights concerning your personal data, including:

• Access: The right to request confirmation of processing and a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• Rectification: The right to request correction of inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete information;
• Erasure: The right to request deletion of your personal records, subject to our legal retention obligations for financial and tax audits;
• Restriction & Objection: The right to request restriction of processing or object to specific processing activities where applicable under law;
• Data Portability: The right to receive your personal data in a structured, standard electronic format;
• Withdrawal of Consent: The right to withdraw consent at any time where processing was based on consent;
• Regulatory Complaint: The right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority (such as the Nigeria Data Protection Commission, NDPC).

Children's privacy

FlowFrame is professional creative, presentation, and production software. It is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate legal authorization under applicable law.

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you (an individual user or legal entity) and Yes & No Identity Ltd ("Yes & No", "we", "us", or "our") governing your installation, access to, and use of the FlowFrame desktop software application and the FlowFrame website.

By downloading, installing, purchasing a licence for, or using FlowFrame, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of an organisation (such as a church, production company, media agency, or business), you represent and warrant that you have full legal authority to bind that organisation.

Software licence & EULA

FlowFrame is licensed, not sold. Subject to your continuous compliance with these Terms and the payment of applicable subscription or licence fees, Yes & No Identity Ltd grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and run FlowFrame on supported computers during your active subscription or licence term.

• Free Plan: Grants a personal, non-commercial licence to install and use the standard free feature set. No payment or account registration is required.
• Pro Plan: Grants an individual single-user commercial licence unlocking all motion engines, every one of the animated templates, 4K rendering, and commercial use for the duration of your active subscription.
• Team Plan: Grants a multi-seat commercial licence for organisations (including 5 seats, with options to add more), enabling designated team members to use the full engine suite.

You do not acquire ownership of the FlowFrame software, compiled code, object code, source code, rendering engines, algorithms, proprietary templates, presets, user interface, branding, or documentation.

Content ownership vs. FlowFrame intellectual property

Your Content & Output: You retain complete and exclusive ownership of all original materials you import into FlowFrame (such as lyrics, graphics, video clips, audio tracks, brand marks, and text) and all final motion graphics and video files you export from the application. Yes & No Identity Ltd claims no copyright, ownership, or intellectual property rights in your creative work or exported files.

FlowFrame Intellectual Property: FlowFrame and its software, rendering pipelines, motion engines, generative typography algorithms, interface layouts, proprietary templates, presets, documentation, logos, and trademarks are owned by or licensed to Yes & No Identity Ltd and are protected under copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. Except for the licence expressly granted herein, no rights or ownership are transferred to you.

Commercial use & restrictions

Permitted Commercial Use (Pro and Team plans): You may use FlowFrame to create and export visuals for commercial and professional client work. This includes:

• Client video production and paid agency deliverables;
• Live event staging, conferences, and broadcast visuals;
• Church worship services and broadcast streams;
• Paid advertising, promotional videos, and monetized social content;
• Commercial social media carousels and multi-format exports.

Prohibited Redistribution: You may not:

• Sell, resell, lease, rent, sublicense, or redistribute the FlowFrame software or licence keys;
• Extract FlowFrame's proprietary templates, shaders, or engine code to sell or distribute independently on external marketplaces;
• Repackage, bundle, or modify FlowFrame software as part of a competing application;
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the application;
• Circumvent or disable software licence checks or security measures.

Add-ons & perpetual licences

One-time purchases of creative add-on packs, specialized font packages, or premium motion engines, where offered, grant a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use the purchased assets within FlowFrame under these Terms. A one-time purchase grants a perpetual licence to use the asset; it does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property.

Licence activation & device transfers

Paid licences are issued as unique licence keys linked to your purchasing email address. Activating your licence validates the key and binds the authorization to your computer, after which FlowFrame operates offline.

Hardware Changes & Transfers: If you upgrade your computer, replace hardware, or reinstall your operating system, contact our support team to reassign your activation to your new machine.

Abuse Prevention: Licence keys are personal to your plan and may not be publicly shared or published. We reserve the right to limit or refuse repeated activation transfers where we reasonably believe a licence is being shared, resold, or circumvented.

Team seat rules

Each seat under a Team plan is allocated to one designated individual user at a time. Seats belong to the subscribing organisation and may be reassigned by the account administrator to different team members as staffing changes occur.

Seats may not be shared simultaneously by multiple individuals. If your organisation requires additional concurrent users, extra seats can be added to your subscription.

Billing, renewal & cancellation

Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis: Nigerian Naira (NGN) payments via Paystack, US Dollar (USD) payments via Flutterwave, depending on which you select at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically at the start of each billing cycle until cancelled.

You can cancel at any time. Naira subscriptions use the management link Paystack emails you when you subscribe (also resendable by contacting support with your order reference). US Dollar subscriptions are cancelled directly through Flutterwave, either using the cancellation link in your renewal reminder emails or by contacting support with your order reference. Cancelling stops future renewals; your paid features remain fully active until the end of the billing cycle you have already paid for, after which the software reverts to the Free feature set.

Your creative work is never locked or deleted: all project files and previously exported videos stay on your computer and remain yours.

Refund policy

Because FlowFrame provides a fully functional Free plan allowing customers to evaluate the software prior to purchasing, subscription fees and digital add-on purchases are generally non-refundable once a billing cycle begins.

We will issue refunds or billing adjustments in cases of verified duplicate charges, unauthorized billing transactions, or technical failures preventing software activation that our support team is unable to resolve. Refund inquiries must be submitted to support within fourteen (14) days of the transaction date.

Termination & survival

Yes & No Identity Ltd reserves the right to suspend or terminate a licence if you materially breach these Terms, engage in payment fraud, or violate intellectual property restrictions.

Upon termination, you must cease using the paid software features. Provisions relating to intellectual property ownership, content ownership, warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive any termination of these Terms.

Copyright & third-party content responsibility

FlowFrame provides visual motion rendering technology. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have all necessary rights, copyright permissions, and public display licences for all content that you import into, create with, or broadcast through FlowFrame (including song lyrics, music tracks, recordings, video footage, images, fonts, and trademarks).

Church & Worship Music: Churches displaying copyrighted worship song lyrics in services or live streams typically require copyright licences such as CCLI or OneLicense. Securing and maintaining these licences is solely the responsibility of the organization. FlowFrame does not provide or include copyright licences for third-party musical or literary works.

Third-party trademarks & open source

Third-party trademarks, product names, and technologies referenced on this website or within the application (including ProPresenter, EasyWorship, OBS Studio, NDI, Adobe After Effects, CapCut, macOS, and Windows) belong to their respective owners. Unless expressly stated, FlowFrame is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by those entities.

FlowFrame may utilize or depend upon open-source software libraries. Applicable open-source licence notices and attributions are maintained within the desktop application under Settings → About → Third-Party Licences.

Warranty disclaimer & limitation of liability

FlowFrame is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Yes & No Identity Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data loss, broadcast interruptions, or production delays arising from software use.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to FlowFrame is limited to the total fees paid by you to Yes & No Identity Ltd in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Dispute resolution & governing law

These Terms and all disputes arising from your use of FlowFrame are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Informal Resolution: In the event of any disagreement or claim, we encourage you to contact our support team first so that we may attempt to resolve the issue amicably through good-faith consultation before formal proceedings.

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
